Dr. Martin Reaney, who is a distinguished Professor at the University of Saskatchewan and the chief expert in food biology at the Ministry of Agriculture of Saskatchewan, along with Dr. Young Jun Kim from Korea University visited the International School of Guangzhou Huali College on the afternoon of April 24, 2023. Dr. Reaney is also an exceptional foreign expert recruited by the Chinese government. During their visit, they were welcomed by Professor Yong Wang, the Vice Dean of International School of Jinan University, Dr. Shim Youn Young, Associate Researcher of University of Saskatchewan, Canada, and PhD student Yingxue Hu accompanied the visitors. Professor Shuze Tang, Dean of the International School of Guangzhou Huali College received the honourable guests in the  Meeting Room. The Assistant for Deans accompanied the reception.

Professor Tang first extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests from the University of Saskatchewan and Korea University for their visit to the International School of Guangzhou HualiCollege. He briefly introduced the International School's student training concept of cultivating "qualified citizens of the global village", creating a unique platform for student training of "full English teaching, interdisciplinary, multi-project, great opportunity to study abroad reputed universities" for the students, and establishing an international faculty and staffteam that characterized by "with broad academic background, with many famous teacher, with multiple foreign projects and well-structured", as well as the international students training goal of "improving quality, creating brand, and increasing efficiency" has been established.

Professor Martin appreciated Dean Tang for his warm reception, and appreciated the "student-oriented" school-running philosophy of the International School, as well as its international faculty and administrative qualityof the International School. Professor Martin expressed his willingness to receive and guide students fromInternational School of Guangzhou Huali College to his laboratory and innovative start-up companies.

Accompanied by Dean Tang, Professor Martin and Professor Young also visited the school's smart classrooms, libraries, lecture halls, and warm and convenient staff offices with great interest.The school's spacious, convenient, and humanized office conditions were highly appreciated by them.

It is reported that the University of Saskatchewanwas established in 1907. It is a famous public university in Canada with many world-renowned alumni. The school has produced 2 Nobel Prize winners, 73 Rhodes Scholars, 5 Olympic gold medalists, 1 Oscar winner, and 1 Canadian Prime Minister.

Founded in 1905, Korea University is a private university in Seoul, South Korea. It ranks second in South Korea, ranks 11th in QS Asia University (2023), and ranks 74th in the world. This university, together with Seoul National University and Yonsei University, is known as the sky of Korean universities (S.K.Y.).
