International School Representative Visited Western Sydney University
On 11th of May, Dr. Zhou Qingqing, the Vice Dean of International School of Guangzhou Huali College visited Western Sydney University in Sydney, Australia. Mr. Christopher Sze, the teaching Director of International College of University of Western Sydney and Mr. Tao Yang, the Marketing Manager warmly welcomed Dr. Zhou.
Dr. Zhou visited campus, international education and administration service and the facilities with Mr. Tao Yang. When talking to Mr. Christopher Sze and Mr. Tao Yang, Dr. Zhou briefly introduce the development history, educational philosophy and mission of management, characteristics and major distribution of Guangzhou Huali College, with a focus on the unique educational philosophy “student-oriented, patient service”, management mission of international practical personnel education, international education platform, which features “interdisciplinary studies, academic teaching fully in English, faculty members all with international educational background”, the “Exemption from the college entrance examination, Direct access to world-renowned colleges” International Foundation Program, and the newly renovated foreign professors’ office and teaching facilities of the International School.
Mr. Tao Yang believed that the cooperation model of international foundation program between Guangzhou Huali College International School and Western Sydney University International School is clear and practical, and he looked forward to a continuous stream of students from Guangzhou Huali College to Western Sydney University in the future. Mr. Christopher Sze expressed support for a portion of the international courses of Western Sydney University taught in Guangzhou Huali College International School. Both sides agreed to accelerate the signing the cooperation letter of intent (LOI) and accelerate the implementation progress of the cooperation project.
During the visit, Dr. Zhou visited Science School of Western Sydney University. Professor Graciela Metternich, the Dean of Science School and Associate Professor Malik Hussain warmly welcomed Dr. Zhou. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on accepting postgraduate programs from Guangzhou Huali College.

Finally, Dr. Zhou, on behalf of the International School of Guangzhou Huali College, presented the “Red Lychee Receiving Fortune” embroidery handicraft to Western Sydney University.
Western Sydney University, founded in 1989, is a public comprehensive university located in the western part of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is one of the largest universities in Australia consisting of six campuses (Richmond, Blacktown; Parramatta, Penrith; Campbelltown, Banktown) from three branch schools (Hawkesbury, Nepean, MacArthur). Only Richmond campus covers an area of 1500 hectares (approximately 22500 acres). Western Sydney University ranked 494 (2022QS), 251-300 (2021 Times), 274 (2021 USNews) in the world rankings, and ranked 17th in Australia.
