Representatives from California State University, Chico, visited the International School of Guangzhou Huali College
On the morning of March 4, 2024, Ms. Snow Sun, the director of the International Education and Global Engagement at California State University, Chico, and Mr. Xiaobin Li, the director of Asia-Pacific affairs, visited the campus of Guangzhou Huali College for friendly communication between two universities. Professor Shuze Tang, the dean of the International School of Guangzhou Huali College, together with other faculty members of International School, warmly welcomed Ms. Sun and in the 4-212 meeting room of the school.

Dean Shuze Tang provided the distinguished guests with an overview of the Guangzhou Huali College and its development history, highlighting the unique features of the International School, particularly its focus on cultivating global citizens through an all-English teaching platform. He emphasized the distinctive all-English teaching environment and atmosphere. Dean Tang expressed his desire for both schools to foster mutual understanding and establish diverse international cooperation channels to cater to the varying needs of students seeking further education abroad.

In the meeting, Ms. Sun briefly outlined Chico University's geographical location, size, key disciplines, specialized majors, and educational ethos. She expressed a desire to collaborate with International School of Guangzhou Huali College to implement undergraduate "2+2" programs and international foundation programs.

California State University at Chico (CSU Chico), founded in 1887, is the second oldest public university in the California State University system. There are more than 17,000 students on campus (including more than 1,000 graduate students). In the latest US News, it ranks 14th among public state universities in the United States, and computer science ranks 9th.
