Lincoln University College Delegation Visited International School
On October 11, 2024, a delegation from Lincoln University College (LUC) of Malaysia paid a visit to the International School of Guangzhou Huali College. Led by Professor Amiya Bhaumik, the President of LUC, the group included Professor Edmund Koh, the Vice President; Mr. Keshior Gaire, the President’s Assistant; and Ms. Liny Huang, a representative and expert advisor for the LUC Malaysia-China "Belt and Road" Research Institute. The air was charged with anticipation as they entered Meeting Room 212 in Building 4, where the welcoming party had gathered. Professor Shuze Tang, the Dean of the International School, stood at the head of the table, gesturing toward the seats with a welcoming smile. Faculty and staff members sat attentively, their eyes following the guests as they prepared for the academic discussions ahead.

Dean Shuze Tang warmly welcomed the LUC delegation and expressed his sincere appreciation for their visit. He noted that the two institutions have already built a strong foundation of collaboration in areas such as academic exchanges, joint research, and educational partnerships. In addition, Dean Tang introduced the entire faculty team to the LUC delegation, highlighting the international backgrounds and expertise of the members. He also presented the school's distinctive English Medium Instruction (EMI) program, which aims to provide students with an immersive English-language learning environment, enhancing their global competence and preparing them for international careers.

Professor Amiya expressed his gratitude to the International School of Guangzhou Huali College for their warm welcome and for their strong ability to implement the cooperative project. He also highlighted LUC's reputation and educational accomplishments, and conveyed his hope to develop a deeper, more stable partnership with the International School of Huali College. The goal, he emphasized, is to offer students enhanced educational resources and improved career development opportunities.

Subsequently, admission letters from Lincoln University College (LUC) were presented to Rui Tan and Ying Luo, representatives of the International Nursing Undergraduate Program, a joint major between Huali International School and LUC. Professor Amiya and Dean Shuze Tang extended their best wishes to the students for a successful and promising academic future.

Finally, both parties discussed potential cooperation projects and engaged in detailed consultations regarding the "Joint Training Base for Postgraduate Students”.
