International School Held Online Seminar with Rattana Bundit University to Foster Future Cooperation
On November 28, 2024, the International School of Guangzhou Huali College held an online meeting with Rattana Bundit University (RBAC) to explore the feasibility of establishing educational cooperation between the two institutions. The RBAC delegation included Dr. Provich Rattanapian, President and Chairman; Dr. Keerath Sanguansai, Executive President; Samkhan Rojanathavorn and Montri Chaipun, Vice Presidents; Dr. Sittichok Jalernkij, Deputy Dean of RBAC's International School; Lim Kee Woo, Director of the Information Center; and translator Ms. Yueda Chen. Representing Guangzhou Huali College's International School were Prof. Shuze Tang, Dean; Dr. Wenzhen Mai, Assistant Dean; and International Project Coordinators Ms. Jingxiang Chen, Ms. Yingyue Dai, and Ms. Yujing Huang. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Wenzhen Mai.

Dean Shuze Tang opened the meeting with a warm greeting to the RBAC representatives in Thai, fostering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Both sides exchanged cordial greetings and introduced their respective team members, effectively bridging the virtual distance. Dean Tang then provided a concise overview of Guangzhou Huali College, highlighting its development history, current scale, and distinctive campus features. Particular emphasis was placed on the International School’s vision and mission for internationalization, as well as its resources and existing cooperative programs.
Dean Shuze Tang underscored the unique strength of the International School as the only institution among nearly 500 private universities in China to offer courses entirely in English. This, he explained, gives the school a significant competitive advantage. He also expressed hope for future collaboration between the two institutions in areas such as undergraduate exchange programs, winter and summer study programs, joint master's and doctoral training initiatives, and broader academic cooperation.

The RBAC representatives commended the International School's distinctive English-language teaching platform and its strong focus on internationalization. They then used a PowerPoint presentation and video to introduce RBAC’s founding history, institutional scale, partner affiliations, and disciplinary strengths. They expressed a strong desire to establish a partnership with Guangzhou Huali College.

During the discussion session, both parties exchanged views on specific collaborative projects. With a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) already in place, the primary focus shifted to implementing concrete initiatives and finalizing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). Both sides designated dedicated personnel to oversee follow-up actions.
In closing, Dean Shuze Tang expressed gratitude to Dr. Provich Rattanapian, President of RBAC, and his team for their participation and efforts in advancing the cooperation between the institutions. Dean Shuze Tang extended a warm invitation for President Provich Rattanapian and his team to visit Guangzhou Huali College at their convenience.

Introduction of Rattana Bundit University (RBAC)
Rattana Bundit University (RBAC) was founded in 1962 by Mr. Prachum Rattanapian, the former Minister of Education of Thailand, and is located in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.
RBAC has two campuses: the Bangkapi campus in Bangkok and the Pathum Thani campus outside the province. The Bangkok campus is close to Suvarnabhumi International Airport and is less than 10 kilometers from the city center. The location is convenient, just 1.5 kilometers from the Lat Phrao MRT station. RBAC has nine colleges: the College of Education, the College of Law and Policy, the International Management College, the College of Accounting, the College of Business and Finance, the College of Humanities, the College of Creative Industries, the College of Digital Media, and the College of Nursing. It has the authority to confer bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, and the programs offered cover a wide range of disciplines including economics, media law, education, nursing, sports industry management, creative cultural industry management, hotel management, engineering, and technology, making it a comprehensive private university.
